The speaker, headset or headphone is unplugged An audio device must be plugged in to play or record sound. See below for relevant diagnostics and details. The troubleshooter cannot identify the issue and the drivers are up to date. I have not muted or disabled anything, and I did not open my laptop to physically unplug my internal speakers. Recently, within the last 2 or 3 months, my internal speakers stopped working for no obvious reason.
